Effective date: 21 July 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to fees paid directly to Yogyam for separate training, readiness, document-support or coordination services.
Yogyam charges no candidate recruitment or placement fee.
Third-party and government payments are governed by the recipient’s own terms.
2. How to withdraw
A withdrawal or refund request must be submitted in writing to hello@yogyam.com with the subject line Withdrawal and refund request.
The request should include:
- candidate name;
- registered mobile number and email;
- service or programme name;
- payment date and reference;
- reason for withdrawal; and
- relevant supporting information.
We acknowledge a complete request within two business days.
3. Seven-day cooling-off period
A candidate may cancel within seven calendar days of payment and receive a full refund of the Yogyam service fee when:
- no class, assessment, consultation, document review or other service has been delivered;
- no learning-platform or paid material access has been activated; and
- Yogyam has not paid or committed a non-refundable third-party cost for the candidate.
Where any service or access has already begun during the seven-day period at the candidate’s request, the value of delivered services and committed third-party costs will be deducted.
4. Withdrawal after services begin
After the cooling-off period or after service delivery begins:
- fees for completed classes, assessments, consultations, document reviews, preparation modules and coordination work are non-refundable;
- prepaid fees for Yogyam services not yet delivered are refundable on a pro-rata basis;
- third-party and government costs already paid or irreversibly committed are non-refundable;
- non-recoverable payment-gateway charges and taxes may be deducted where law permits; and
- any scholarship, discount or bundled-price adjustment stated in the signed agreement will be applied to the refund calculation.
If the agreement lists unit prices, those prices are used. If it does not, the delivered value is calculated in proportion to completed scheduled sessions, modules or service milestones.
5. Missed classes and inactivity
A session or appointment missed without the notice required by the signed agreement is treated as delivered.
A candidate who stops attending or responding must still submit a written withdrawal request. Inactivity alone does not cancel the agreement or create a refund.
6. Employer non-selection
Employer non-selection does not create an automatic refund because Yogyam does not sell or guarantee placement.
Any prepaid Yogyam service that remains undelivered is still assessed under the pro-rata rule in this policy.
7. Recognition, examination or visa refusal
A refusal or unsuccessful external decision does not automatically mean that a delivered Yogyam service failed.
Delivered services and committed third-party costs remain non-refundable. Prepaid Yogyam services that are no longer required and have not been delivered are eligible for a pro-rata refund.
8. False or withheld information
Where Yogyam ends a service because the candidate submitted forged or materially misleading information, fees for services delivered and third-party costs committed are non-refundable.
Any undelivered balance is reviewed after deducting direct losses reasonably caused by the breach, subject to applicable law.
9. Cancellation by Yogyam
If Yogyam cancels a paid service for operational reasons and does not offer a reasonable alternative accepted by the candidate, Yogyam refunds the full fee paid for the undelivered portion.
If an external opportunity closes, the candidate may choose between:
- applying the undelivered Yogyam service credit to another suitable pathway; or
- receiving a refund of the undelivered Yogyam service portion.
No candidate is required to accept a different employer or pathway.
10. Material change to an opportunity
If a confirmed opportunity changes materially before commitment or travel, Yogyam will explain the change.
Where the change makes an undelivered paid service unnecessary, the undelivered portion is refundable. Delivered services and committed third-party costs remain subject to this policy.
11. Decision and payment timelines
- Yogyam acknowledges a complete request within two business days.
- Yogyam provides a written refund decision within 10 business days after receiving all information needed to assess the request.
- An approved refund is initiated within 10 business days after the written decision.
- The bank or payment provider may require additional time to credit the account.
Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Where that is not possible, identity and bank-account verification are required.
12. Disputes about a refund
A candidate may request an internal review within seven calendar days of the refund decision.
The review is handled under the Complaints and Grievance Policy.
