Effective date: 21 July 2026
1. Our commitment
Candidates, employers, partners and website users may raise a concern about Yogyam’s communication, conduct, payments, privacy, documents or agreed process.
A good-faith complaint will not reduce a candidate’s opportunity or result in retaliation.
2. What can be raised
A complaint may concern:
- misleading, incomplete or unclear information;
- an unauthorised payment request;
- fees, invoices or refunds;
- delay or lack of communication;
- document handling or privacy;
- disrespectful, discriminatory, coercive or abusive conduct;
- an employer, trainer, representative or partner connected with a Yogyam pathway;
- failure to follow a signed agreement;
- a conflict of interest;
- retaliation; or
- another matter reasonably connected with Yogyam’s service.
3. How to submit a grievance
Send the complaint to hello@yogyam.com with the subject line Formal grievance, or message the official Yogyam WhatsApp number +91 93250 42467 and request the grievance form.
You may also post it to:
Grievance Officer Yogyam C/O COEP's Bhau Institute of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Leadership, Beside COEP Boat Club, College of Engineering, Shivajinagar, Pune, Maharashtra 411005, India
Include:
- your full name and contact details;
- the relevant programme, employer or reference;
- a clear description of the concern;
- important dates and people involved;
- supporting documents, messages or payment records; and
- the outcome you are requesting.
A complaint may be submitted in English or Hindi. We will make reasonable efforts to understand a complaint submitted in another Indian language.
4. Acknowledgement
We acknowledge a grievance within two business days.
The acknowledgement states the reference number, the person or function handling the review and whether more information is required.
5. Review process
Yogyam will:
- assign a reviewer who was not directly responsible for the disputed decision where reasonably possible;
- review relevant agreements, messages, documents and payment records;
- give the affected parties a fair opportunity to explain;
- protect confidentiality as far as possible;
- record the findings and corrective action; and
- issue a written outcome.
6. Outcome timeline
We provide a formal written outcome within 15 business days after receiving a sufficiently complete complaint.
If the issue is complex or depends on information from an employer, authority or third party, we will explain the reason for delay before the 15-business-day period ends. The extended final outcome will be provided within 30 calendar days of the original complaint unless a legal or authority process makes that impossible.
7. Possible outcomes
Depending on the findings, Yogyam may:
- explain or correct information;
- apologise;
- correct a record;
- replace a contact person;
- complete an overdue service;
- approve a refund under the Refund and Withdrawal Policy;
- stop working with a representative or partner;
- improve a process or training control;
- report suspected unlawful conduct; or
- reject a complaint with reasons.
8. Escalation
If you disagree with the first outcome, submit an escalation within seven calendar days of receiving it.
A designated partner or senior reviewer not responsible for the initial outcome will review the matter and issue a final internal response within 10 business days.
9. Privacy grievances
Privacy complaints follow this same acknowledgement and review process.
Where applicable, an individual may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India or a competent European data-protection authority after using Yogyam’s grievance process.
10. Urgent safety, fraud or coercion concerns
Do not wait for the normal timeline where there is:
- an immediate threat to safety;
- passport or original-document confiscation;
- coercion;
- fraud;
- trafficking or exploitation;
- an unauthorised demand for money; or
- suspected criminal conduct.
Contact the appropriate police, emergency, embassy, labour, immigration or other competent authority and notify Yogyam as soon as safely possible.
11. Records and non-retaliation
Yogyam keeps grievance records securely for three years after closure.
No person acting for Yogyam may retaliate against someone for raising a genuine concern or participating in a review.
12. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-excludable right under applicable law.
