Effective date: 21 July 2026
1. Our placement-fee rule
Yogyam does not charge candidates a recruitment or placement fee for being introduced to, interviewed by or selected by an employer.
No employee, representative, trainer or partner is authorised to collect a hidden placement fee on Yogyam’s behalf.
2. Separate paid services
Yogyam may offer separate education and support services that help a candidate become ready for a pathway.
These may include:
- German-language training;
- workplace-German and communication preparation;
- professional, cultural and transition-readiness training;
- structured profile and document review;
- document organisation and process coordination; and
- examination or recognition-readiness support.
These are service or education fees, not payment for an employment offer.
The exact service, price, applicable tax, payment schedule, duration, refund rule and delivery method are stated in the candidate’s signed agreement before any payment is requested.
No candidate is asked to rely on an oral price or informal WhatsApp promise.
3. Third-party and government costs
A candidate may also need to pay independent third parties or authorities, including for:
- language examinations;
- translations, notarisation, apostille or certification;
- professional-recognition applications;
- police-clearance and medical documents;
- visa and immigration fees;
- courier or document-delivery services;
- travel;
- insurance;
- accommodation; and
- external training or examination providers.
Yogyam identifies known third-party costs before the relevant stage where reasonably possible.
Third-party charges are not Yogyam placement fees. The third party’s invoice, cancellation and refund terms apply.
4. What you receive before payment
Before paying Yogyam, a candidate receives in writing:
- the service being purchased;
- the total fee or clear calculation method;
- applicable taxes;
- the payment schedule;
- services included and excluded;
- known third-party costs;
- the refund and withdrawal rules;
- the main dependencies and risks; and
- confirmation that employer selection, recognition and visa outcomes are not guaranteed.
5. Safe payment rules
Pay Yogyam only through an official bank account, payment link or payment instruction issued in the name of Yogyam or Yogyam.
Do not pay cash or transfer money to the personal account of an employee, trainer, agent or intermediary.
Yogyam provides a receipt or payment confirmation for every amount paid directly to it.
Suspected unauthorised payment requests should be reported immediately to hello@yogyam.com.
6. No payment can buy an external decision
Payment for training or support does not guarantee:
- an employer interview;
- selection or employment;
- professional recognition;
- examination success;
- visa or immigration approval; or
- a fixed completion date.
7. Employer-funded services
An employer may pay Yogyam for sourcing, readiness, recruitment coordination or related services.
Employer fees are governed by the employer agreement and are not deducted from a candidate unless a lawful, disclosed candidate service has been separately agreed in writing.
8. Questions about costs
Candidates should ask every cost question before payment.
